Hanoi is the capital and second largest city in Vietnam. With heavily french-influenced architecture, Hanoi is a major city with 4 million people, but still has a small town feel inside the “old quarters.” Don’t forget about their famous 30 cent street beers - Bia Hoi, please!

Day One

• Guests arrive throughout the day with a group orientation once everyone has checked in.
• Included Experiences: Orientation Meeting with your group leader and an introduction to Vietnamese cuisine.

Day Two

• Spend the day in Hanoi visiting temples and a war prison tour before heading on an overnight bus to Sa Pa
• Included Experiences: City & War Prison Tour, Hanoi Temple of Literature, and Temple on the Lake Hoan Kiem visit.
• Optional Experience: Visit the Snake Village ($25 USD)

This stunning UNESCO World Heritage site is made up of pristine, emerald waters, 1,900 limestone peaks & offers some of the most amazing backdrops this planet has to offer! We will explore this majestic area for 3 days, with one night spent on one of the islands and the other spent aboard a boat.

Day Three

• Arrive in Halong Bay in the morning where we will hop straight on to a booze cruise and explore Halong Bay on a Kayak.

Day Four

• Spend the day exploring Freedom Island, playing in the ocean and relaxing on the beach.
• Included Experience: Trip to Freedom Island

This little gem in the south mountains of Vietnam will leave you speechless. Don’t forget your camera for this one as every inch of this place is a National Geographic front cover contender.

Day Five

• Transfer from Halong Bay to Ninh Binh arriving in the afternoon. 
• Walking tour around Ninh Binh to gain a better understanding of the Vietnamese culture.

Day Six

• Set out on a full day activity which includes a boat trip on the Trang An river along the rice fields and a hike up Mua Caves to witness one of vietnams best viewpoints.

Day Seven

• Today is a free day for you to explore the endless amount of incredible things to see around Ninh Binh. 
• Later in the day, we'll take a short bus ride back to Hanoi to enjoy the local shopping, restaurants and bars before your final night out in Vietnam with the group.
• Optional Experience: Visit the ancient temples and pagodas

Canggu is a laid back, relaxing town where you will get to experience a little more of the true Balinese culture. It is most well known for a 10km stretch of beach that has amazing surf spots!

Day Eight

• Take a flight from Vietnam to Bali. Check into the hotel and explore all that Canggu has to offer. People will be arriving throughout the day so there are no official plans this day, other than enjoying the beach and having an orientation meeting with your group leaders once everyone has arrived.

Day Nine

• Immerse yourself in culture as we head out on a day trip to the Gitgit Waterfalls and Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple.
• Included Experiences: Day trip to the Gitgit waterfalls and Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple.
• Optional Activities: Surfing ($9).

This island is a popular destination for tourists looking for a remote island experience; hop on a hammock, kick back and relax!

Day Ten

• Morning bus (2hrs) and boat ride (2hrs) over to Gili Air. Spend the day topping up your tan on the dream like beaches, enjoy a Yoga Class overlooking the ocean or take to the water and experience a fun, one day Scuba Dive; the day is all yours!
• Optional Activities: This island offers excellent Scuba Diving ($80), Yoga Classes ($14) and Snorkeling ($15)

Day Eleven

• Explore the nooks and crannies of the Island with newfound travel friends, enjoy a massage or hit up the beach bars for cocktails that are delicious and nutritious...
• Optional Activities: Traditional Indonesian Massage ($10)

Day Twelve

• Ever fancied learning how to cook Traditional Indonesian food? Today's the day you can put your cooking skills to the test! If cooking isn't your thing then you have the day to enjoy the white sandy beaches, before heading out to enjoy all that Gili Air has to offer once the sun goes down!
• Optional Activities: Cookery class ($18)

This gorgeous, laid-back island is known as a "Diver's Paradise;" if scuba diving is on your itinerary, this would be a great place to do your open water course. Your time here will consist of discovering the beautiful beaches, relaxing to the max, and catching sunsets from beachside bars.

Day  Thirteen

• Prepare for a quick boat ride taking us across the ocean to Gili Trawangan. Check into your new rooms and then jump on a bicycle for a tour of this beautiful island.
• Included Experiences: Bicycle trip to explore the Island. 
• Optional Activities: Scuba Diving Open Water Class ($450)

Day Fourteen

• Today we take to the ocean in a glass bottom boat for a tour around the islands and to test your snorkeling skills. Prepare for smiles, stomach cramps from laughing too hard and memories to last a life time

Day Fifteen

• Experience the crystal-clear calm waters as we spend the morning travelling from one island to the next on a stand up paddle board, stopping off on one of the islands for a much needed snack and smoothie.

Day Sixteen

• Enjoy a free day to spend as you wish. A morning of shopping, a Yoga Class to release that extra tension or an afternoon on the beach, whatever takes your fancy!
• Optional Activities: Kayaking ($14), Yoga Class ($14), One day fun dive ($80)

Day Seventeen

• Take a morning ferry and a bus back to Kuta. Spend the day last minute shopping or relaxing before a final group dinner and night out with all of the crew.
• Optional Activities: Visit the Ground Zero Monuments (FREE)

Where it all begins, the capital of Thailand; Bangkok. You either love it or hate it, this sprawling metropolis has a little of something for everyone in it, it just depends where you look. Crazy, loud, smelly, and massive this city is like no other city on the planet. 

Day Eighteen

• Flight from Kuta to Bangkok. Check into the hotel and head straight out to explore bustling Bangkok. People will be arriving throughout the day and into the evening so there are no official plans this day other than settling in.

• Included Experiences: Explore Khao San Road - a popular traveler hub full of roadside pop up bars, restaurants, food vendors, shopping and banging nightclubs. 

Kanchanaburi is a charming town west of Bangkok that will fulfill your desire to immerse yourself in the culture and history of Thailand.

Day Nineteen

• Meet in the morning for an Orientation Meeting with your Group Leader and enjoy some fresh Thai Fruits before visiting the majestic Wat Po Temple in the afternoon, followed by a ride in the most iconic Thai vehicle; the TukTuk! Take a trip to Asiatique for dinner before taking a night bus (2-3hrs) to Kanchanaburi, checking into the hotel and hitting the sack.

Day Twenty

• Today you have the option to take a free day as you like or join the longer (Thaiventure & Treasures) groups and spend a day with rescued elephants in an ethical way. Learn about these majestic creatures, feed them, watch them play in the mud and wash them with their Mahouts.

• Optional Activity: Ethical Elephant Sanctuary (2500BHT)

Day Twenty One  (Overnight Sleeper Train)

• Wake up feeling refreshed and ready for a full day of exploring seven wonderful waterfalls at Erawan National Park. Depart early morning and return by 2PM

• In the afternoon you’ll hop on a bike and pedal your way through the streets of Kanchanaburi, stopping off at the Bridge Over the River Kwai, a War Museum and a Chinese Temple.

• Transfer to the train station (1hr)  for an overnight train to the south islands! (7-8 Hr train)

• Included Experiences: Bike Tour, War Museum & Bridge Over the River Kwai visit, Chinese Temple, Night Market, Erawan National Park visit

This beautiful small island has something for everyone and has been made famous for being an excellent location for snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as its gorgeous viewpoints. You will love watching the sunset on the beach steps away from your bungalow.

Day Twenty Two

• After taking a ferry ride from the mainland arrive in Koh Tao just before lunch. Check into your rooms and indulge in some delicious Thai food overlooking the ocean before exploring the nearby shops and bars. Enjoy an afternoon on the beach and later you have the option to partake in an LBW exclusive addition to the trip that includes personal growth and group bonding exercises.

  Day Twenty Three

• Viewpoint Hike! Trek to the top of the Island and discover a hidden temple, guarded by a single monk. Prepare for stunning views that overlook the whole Island. Head back down for a free afternoon of beach side chilling and cocktail drinking, before heading out to one of South East Asia's largest pub crawls; pool party, fire dancing, live music and a ladyboy cabaret show...it's definitely not one to be missed!

Day Twenty Four

• Today we're heading out on a boat trip to explore the beautiful island of Koh Nang Yuan; a tiny island with a big viewpoint which will probably be the backdrop of your next profile picture. Hike to the top for an incredible viewpoint, witness the stunning surroundings and enjoy snorkeling with the fishes.

Koh Phangan is famous as being the host of the Full Moon Party and has an atmosphere that caters to those that love to party and also rehabilitate after. Chill out on soft white sand beaches, join a beach soccer tournament, relax with a traditional Thai Massage and get ready to PARTY! 

Day Twenty Five

• Catch an early morning ferry (3 hrs) from Koh Tao across to Koh Phangan. Checkin to your accommodation and head out to Koh Raham for some beach side chills. Visit the local night market for dinner then either spend the evening chilling by the ocean or partying at the pre Full Moon Jungle Party!

Day Twenty Six

• Relaxing beach day before tonights Full Moon Party! Tonight we will be going in HARD as we celebrate the infamous Full Moon Party on Haadrin beach. Neon body paint and buckets at the ready, LBW are taking over the (sandy) dance floor! #FULLSEND

Day Twenty Seven

• Today is a day of rest and recovery. Have a morning of freedom to do as you please, chill out on the beach, shop till you drop or enjoy a traditional Thai massage - the choice is all your.
• Tonight we will be heading to the 360 Viewpoint restaurant for dinner. Once the suns gone down we’ll head to The Dome for some bonfire chills and a serious sauna session.
• Included Experiences: The Dome, Transport to 360 Viewpoint Restaurant *Food and Drink not included*. 
• Optional Activities: Massage (300 Baht)

Day Twenty Eight

• Today marks the end of your Southeast Asia Explorer tour, you will have the option to stay in Koh Phanagan or to be dropped off at the Surat Thani Airport (extra fee) alternatively you could continue your tour by upgrading to the full Thaiventure tour!

***Please Note: our June to November 2020 tour itineraries will run slightly different in Koh Phangan. The activities scheduled on day Twenty Six and Twenty Seven will be swapped around, meaning that on day Twenty Six you will visit The Dome and on day Twenty Seven you will be celebrating the Full Moon Party**
