YIN YOGA & MEDITATION
Yin yoga is based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. The practice is a form of meditation, and helps you learn how to surrender – not just on the mat, but in all areas of your life.
YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra is often referred to as "yogic sleep," a paradoxical state of being between sleep and consciousness that's conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, rewiring your brain, and self-exploration. Yoga Nidra, translated as yogic sleep, is a five-stage process that begins with a body scan to engage one's physicality. It incorporates meditation on the breath, the balancing of emotional states, visualization, and self-healing.
KUNDALINI
The term kundalini is used to refer to the vital force or energy that we all hold within us. Often called the “sleeping goddess” or “serpent power”, it is represented as a serpent coiled around the first chakra or root chakra at the base of the spine. Considered a form of spiritual energy, raising Kundalini requires one be firmly disciplined in both mind and body in order to be properly prepared to embrace the responsibility that comes with Kundalini awakening. The phrase “Kundalini awakening” essentially refers to the discovery and “awakening” of inner knowledge.
INTENTION SETTING
When an intention is set, it's also a way of carrying a yoga practice off the mat and out into the world, where that intention can translate to other aspects of life.
INTUITIVE ENERGY HEALING
Intuitive healing is an alternative practice that relies on the use of the five senses to locate and correct imbalances in the energy flow within the body. Visualisation and focused thinking are often key components in the intuitive healing process.
SOUND HEALING
Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. The intention is to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).
MANIFESTATION WORKSHOPS
Manifestation is the art of aligning potential, intention, thought, belief, commitment, decision, and action to achieve and sustain the greatest possible result. It liberates you from old beliefs, habits, and practices that no longer serve and opens the door into a new world of possibilities.
