After a gruelling 20+ hours of travel, I’ve reached my final destination; Bangkok. Weary, exhausted and probably in desperate need of a shower, I couldn’t help but grin when I was struck with a wall of humidity that hit me harder than a sack of bricks. Thoughts of the chilly Canadian winter that I had left behind were quickly replaced by visions of good food, good people, and amazing beaches. I am so excited to be back, Thailand truly feels like home. In just a few short days the group will be arriving and I cannot wait to see the bemused and fascinated looks on everybody’s faces. I’m sure a strange sense of déjà vu will come over me, knowing that just a couple years ago I was in that very same spot; not knowing what to expect but deciding to take the plunge. I’m totally looking forward to meeting our new Life Before Work crew and showing them the absolute time of their life! After this tour, they’ll know why we’re so passionate about every aspect of Thailand, and hopefully they’ll feel the same. Time to put on your party pants!
